In this day we have finished our booths check list and we attended two network sessions named: Research challenges and contributions for NEXOF, the NESSI Open Service Framework and NEXOF
Session details:
Developing an open service framework for transforming software into services.
Launched in 2005, the Networked European Software and Service Initiative (NESSI), with 500 members from 300 organisations, focuses on the transformation of software into services. It is working to develop NEXOF, the NESSI Open Service Framework. NEXOF will help developers and integrators deploy new services in safe, secure, trusted and interoperable environments. Faster time to market, seamless interoperability and trusted authentication are some of the major advantages of this environment. NEXOF’s open approach allows different research projects to help shape it. This session will inform participants on how they can take part in the development of NEXOF. Opportunities for collaborative research under the Seventh Framework Programme will also be on the agenda.
