MOVE-IT prepared its plan on 3 aspects
• Network sessions.
• Exhibitors stand.
• Our stand (Ministry of communication and MAP-IT).
1st day, 25NOV. 2008
We have attended a network session named “ the great beyond, advancing ongoing SME collaboration in EU research”
The session was discussing the following:
This joint networking session will focus on qualitative aspects of SME participation in EU research, assistance throughout the entire life cycle of collaborative projects and the integration of support services, emphasizing:
- Best practices of EU support services:

- Enabling SME to participate in collaborative projects (CATALIST initiative, NCP and EEN support)
- o Empowering SME to cooperate and innovate (smE-MPOWER, BusinessRadar.it)
- o Assisting SME in the exploitation and implementation of ICT results (eTEN projects)
The session was very productive for us as we got two important contacts, one from Italy and the other was from Hungary. The contacts was regarding co-operation regarding MOVE-IT research “workflow management system” and MOVE-IT is going to be the project coordinator.
Our visits to exhibitors stands was almost productive too as our case studies was very interesting for many exhibitor specially for the BestPractice II project. And we are planning to discuss with their presenter the different available ways of cooperation between BestPractice II and MOVE-IT.

EGYPT stand had a good potential in the conference as the stand was presenting 8 companies with different technologies… in the stand we have a got a good contact with Liverpool university to cooperate in our research.
