In this day we have a good chance to contact exhibitors stands, we were focused on the organizations belonging to the European commission like Ideal-Ist, EEN&EACI , MED-IST, MAP-IT and how MOVE-IT can benefit from dealing with them.
We have attended a network session titled: Fostering co-operation with the Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC). The session was prepared in cooperation with Egyptian booth.
Session description:
International co-operation has been an important feature of the EU’s research framework programmes, and continues to be so in FP7. It creates opportunities for research centres with significant know-how, such as those in the Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs), to gain visibility in Europe and across their region. Hosted by the MED-IST and MAP-IT! projects, this session will provide a closer view of the existing ICT potential and future trends of MPCs, bringing interested researchers from both sides of the Mediterranean together to exchange ideas and initiate new partnerships for upcoming FP7 calls. Emphasis will be on digital libraries and content, ICT for mobility and environmental sustainability, pervasive and trusted networks, and on healthcare.
